The Cardhu matured in toasted oak barrels and ex bourbon barrels. Tasting 1 Eye: Lively, pure amber. Nose: Sweet, powerful and lively with fresh pear and lychee on buttery, pastry like aromas. Muted hints of citrus and sweet tangerines unfold with lemon balm and old fashioned lemonade. Softening with rich, smooth notes of syrup and malt with sweet toffee, honey
