A brooding and intensely earthy nose features notes of dark berries
Good stuff and because of the velvety palate feel
airy and restrained aromas of plum liqueur
I underestimated this from cask as there is excellent purity of expression on the nose with a floral red fruit quality followed by remarkably detailed flavors of solid intensity if not necessarily great density with a purity and length that are impressive
As it did from cask the nose is partially compromised by the presence of noticeable reduction so be sure to decant this
