pure and expressive with ripe red and black pinot fruit that gives way gracefully to wonderfully seductive middle weight flavors that possess good mid-palate concentration and while the finish possesses a slight tanginess
There is excellent vibrancy to the detailed and stony middle weight flavors that are not particularly dense but do offer outstanding length where the supporting tannins are quite fine grained in the context of what is typical for Lavaux
This should also be very good if allowed 8 to 10 years of cellar time to realize its full potential
What stands out in the 2016 is the combination of freshness
This beauty should amply reward a decade of cellar time
Colombier, Hermitage Blanc other_regions_italy pure and expressive with ripeLight, bright straw yellow. A deeply perfumed bouquet evokes pear and peach nectar, honey, vanilla, toasted almond and smoky minerals. Rich and fleshy but lively as well, offering sappy orchard, pit fruit and marzipan flavors that are braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Finishes chewy, focused and long, with lingering pear, honey notes and a hint of anise. Josh Raynolds
