It"s called "white cloud" and it involves the artisan blowing a puff of smoke into the glass, where it gets trapped "frozen" in the heat of the moment of creation. A soft cube of gauzy "white cloud" glass nests within another hard edged cube of transparent glass, creating a mysterious, layered, beautiful light diffusion effect.
