They started off their career releasing record after record in quick succession, three LPs in four years, plus various EPs in that time as well. In the early years, they were releasing everything with the seminal Earache label. In 1991 the band released Necroticism Descanting The Insalubrious, their third album, which was important in helping establish the technical death metal sound.
