The British group had formed in Manchester six years prior. It took them a while to get off the ground, but with the release of The Stone Roses, they instantly became one of the most well loved and exciting bands in the entire country. They had top ten hits, were playing on BBC's The Late Show, and began playing to thousands of people. Displeased with the support of
