It has a low rounded crown and is decorated with horsehair braid in a flower shape at the back of the crown, with a grosgrain ribbon centre. The edge of the brim is also covered with horsehair braid netting. Horsehair, of course, is not real horsehair, but a millinery term for this type of netting. The hat has a spaghetti strap that would aid in keeping the hat in place. It is a
