This 1950s cocktail dress does up with a fine tooth metal zipper at the left side

You can see that this handmade lace bedspread is hand knotted as there is a knot in each corner of the lace

The top is decorated with a row of beaded dangles along the bottom and trimmed with colourful sequins along the neckline and bottom

is sewn with a single stitch onto the centre front (see last close-up photo) - unusual

The plate measures 8 3 4 in diameter. The underside is stamped Rosenthal Germany. Metropol was produced from 1990 until 1998.
