The humidor was made in Austria, probably during the 1890s and is stamped in typical fashion with the number 3591. The cover is hollow and has an opening they used to insert a wet sponge in the cavity in order to provide humidity for the tobacco being stored in the humidor. The piece measures 7 1 2 wide by about 4 1 2 deep with a height of 3 3 8 to the top of the
