At great expense (we're still driving old vehicles), we procured one to bring home, named it 'Siam Ruby', and are thrilled to share it with folks here in the states. Our research indicated it originated in Papua New Guinea as a sport of Musa 'Tapo', where bananas have been cultivated for 10,000 years.
