A deft touch of wood frames the penetrating and wonderfully complex nose of petrol, lemon zest and essence of pear that is even more floral suffused. There is superb power to the big bodied, stony and concentrated flavors that possess a copious amount of dry extract that coats the palate on the almost painfully intense and hugely long finish. This is a classically styled Chevalier and also one to strongly consider.
