As the name suggests, Showy Goldenrod is one of the more showy of the many goldenrods. Native to open woods and prairies. It has erect, usually unbranched, reddish stems that appear singly or in clusters with tiny, bright yellow flowers in a compact pyramidal column. Attracts many bees, butterflies, and birds. Easy to grow in well drained, dry to medium soil in full sun and will
